Beech History

A bit about us...

 

Beginning in 2004, a group of retired teachers and administrators began volunteering at Beech School District.

 

Initially, the goal was to establish a Heritage Centre that would be open to the public. Visitors would be able to view historical photos, documents, and artifacts on the history and accomplishments of the public education system in Vancouver.

 

The creation of such a centre remains an ambition. However, for the past several years, efforts have focused on creating a digital Archive drawn from photos and documents collected by the Beech School Board and stored at the VSB Education Centre.
